Some of the ingredients in this recipe you can make ahead or meal prep with other dinners. For example, the bolognese sauce could be made ahead of time for a spaghetti bolognese dinner and frozen for using later in this recipe!

Here’s what you need:

1 box of regular lasagna noodles (cooked)
1 litre of bolognese sauce
1 lb bag of fresh spinach
1 500ml tub of ri
cotta cheese
1/2 cup of parm cheese
2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Here’s how you layer it:
Your first layer will be the bolognese sauce, top with your lasagna noodles. Next, you’ll want to mix together your spinach and ricotta cheese in a seperate bowl (sprinkle some salt & pepper to taste) add this as your next layer on top of your noodles, spread some more bolognese sauce on top of your spinach mixture and top with another layer of noodles. Add another layer of bolognese sauce and top with parmesan cheese. You can add some extra beef to this layer if you have it. Then, add your final layer of noodles and some more bolognese sauce (making sure to cover all the noodles to avoid them burning) and top with your grated mozzarella cheese.

Here’s how you bake it:
Put your lasagna in the oven at a high heat to start (375F-400F) for one hour and then turn it down to 325F for 25 more minutes. Let it cool down before cutting into it, serve with your favourite bread!
